Every time I had listened to the new album by Gabriel Alexander, my mind immediately went into a contradictory statement. Fluently rigid. Airy and grounded. Faintly clear. Woozy, yet stable. The lucid dreamlike sound formed by the luring mixture of rapid percussion, enamoring guitars, and near-sedated vocals, initially feels loose, swift, formed by the mind and imagination, before becoming sturdy, almost tangible. And yet, in all of this misty confusion, there is a beauty that blunts the senses.
